
A truly intersting exhibition is that which opened last July 3, held at the Civic Museums Foundation of Venice, made in the context of the initiatives promoted and financed by the Veneto Region and coordinated by the Regional Committee for the celebrations of the birth of 500 years of great architect Andrea Palladio's birth: "Palladio and /at Venice-Traces and Palladian paths: documents, drawings, memories of the city collection".
For what is considered one of most important cultural event in Italy in this seconf half of the year, is well illustrated the dazzling work of Palladio in Venice through the exhibition of just over 300 works (printed editions, manuscripts, sketches, documents and drawings) to enable the visitor to perceive better the intense relationship that Palladio had with the Venetian environment and its role in the urban setting of the lagoon city. The exhibition will close on 2010, January the 10th.
Hours: Daily, until October 31 from 10am to 7pm. From November 1st from 10am to 5pm. Ticket office closes one hour earlier.
